Santi Kolk (born 2 October 1981 in The Hague) is a Dutch footballer who currently plays for NAC Breda on loan from German 2. Bundesliga club 1. FC Union Berlin. His favorite position is right-winger.
Santi Kolk's official debut as a professional was on 29 August 1999, when he played for ADO Den Haag. It was in the home-match against NAC Breda. In his debut he scored his first goal, after one minute. In the 2005/2006 season, when he played for FC Zwolle, he became topscorer of the Jupiler League with 19 goals. He is now considered one of Vitesse's key players due to his goalscoring record.
Santi Kolk has played in several national youth teams. Louis van Gaal took him to the FIFA U-20 World Cup in 1999.
Since the 2007/2008 season, Kolk has played for Vitesse. Before, he played for SC Heerenveen, RKC Waalwijk, FC Den Bosch, Excelsior, FC Zwolle and ADO Den Haag.
At July 2010 Kolk agreed a 3 year contract with 1. FC Union Berlin, playing in the 2. Bundesliga. In the 2010/2011 season, he made 17 appearances and scored 4 goals. Now Santi Kolk plays for NAC Breda on loan.[1]
